CIRT Sentiment Index

Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT) Sentiment Index measures confidence of the industry on future performance. It is developed based on the regular survey of executives within construction industry to measure their confidence on future economic performance of the industry.

Confidence or sentiment indices basically aim to gauge the confidence in the future trends and are usually determined through surveys. In the construction industry, Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT), that comprise of approximately 100 CEOs from the leading architectural, engineering and construction firms in the US, releases CIRT Sentiment Index. CIRT Sentiment Index gauges confidence of the industry on future performance based on the regular survey of executives within construction industry. The survey aims to obtain opinion of executives on their confidence on future economic performance of the industry and is published quarterly.
