S&P Select Industry Index

S&P Select Industry Indices measure performance of a range of industries and sub-industries from Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS®), one being Building and Construction with its six sub-industries. The index is published monthly by McGraw Hill Financial and developed based on minimum of 35 stock data from each industry. It is calculated as the ratio of the index market value and the index divisor being set as 1000 for a base index value on December 15, 2000.
